美国大学荣誉教育组织发展的制度探索及启示
On the Institutional Exploration and Enlightments of Honors Education Organization Development at US Universities

摘要(Abstract):

组织理论的新制度主义强调环境与组织行为的关联性,认为环境及其同形机制会对组织合法化及其行为方式产生影响。运用组织同形理论分析美国大学荣誉教育组织形式的诸多共性发现,组织在历时发展中深受制度环境和技术环境的不同制度逻辑影响,且二者在组织实际运行中难以截然分离,体现了荣誉教育组织在不同环境的制度逻辑主动选择组织形式及运行策略的能力。为了推进我国大学精英本科教育组织的有效建设,应当以关注组织发展的内外目标来获取精英本科教育组织依赖的有利资源,以探索组织发展的核心理念来推动精英本科教育组织的特色化和可持续发展,并从根本上以立足组织发展的制度环境来提高精英本科教育组织应对环境的变革能力。
The organizational theory of new institutionalism emphasizes the relevance of environments and organizational behaviors,and holds that environment and isomorphism will affect organization legitimization and its behaviors. This paper applies organizational isomorphism theory to analyze general nature of honors education organization in US universities,and finds that the honors education organizations are deeply affected by two different isomorphism mechanism under institutional and technical environments,and they are hard to separate thoroughly,demonstrating the ability of actively selecting organization forms and their operational strategies which can utilize institutional logic under different environment.In order to efficiently construct our elite undergraduate education organizations among universities,we should pay attention to both inside and outside organizational goals and gather useful resources that organizations rely on,explore the core ideas and promote characteristic and sustainable development of organization,as well as keep a foothold in institutional environment where organizations development depends on,and improve the innovative ability of organizations when coping with environments fundamentally.
