比较教育中的国别研究:价值重申与方向探寻
Single Country Studies in Comparative Education:Value Reaffirmation and Direction Seeking

摘要(Abstract):

国别研究在比较教育中的价值有必要予以重申。从认识论的角度来看,比较教育中的国别研究具有三重价值:能够为民族国家的教育改革与发展提供借鉴;有助于人们深入理解各国的教育与文化,促进国际交流与合作;有助于推动教育学的科学化。在民族国家建构时期,比较教育选择了一条为民族国家教育服务的发展路径,致使国别研究发挥的主要是教育借鉴的价值。在全球化时代,比较教育需要转型:在关注国家利益的同时,也应该以促进国际理解与和平为己任,承担起推动教育学科学化的使命。这就需要凸显国别研究在深入理解一国的教育与文化方面的价值,强化国别研究在因果解释或教育理论建构方面的作用。为此,要对国别研究进行强化和改革:做好"深描",开展立体化的国别研究;追求"解释",开展基于理论的国别研究。
The value of single country studies in comparative education needs to be reaffirmed. From the perspective of epistemology,single country studies in comparative education have threefold values:it can provide reference for the educational reform and development of nation-states;it helps people to have a deep understanding of the education and culture of different countries and promotes international exchanges and cooperation;it can also help promote the scientization of pedagogy. In the period of nation-state building,comparative education chose a development path focused on service for the nation-state education,which made single country studies function as educational borrowing. In the era of globalization,comparative education needs transformation:while paying attention to national interests,it should also take the responsibility to promote international understanding,global peace,and the the scientization of pedagogy,which requires to highlight the value of single country studies to promote deep understanding of a country's education and culture,and strengthen the role of single country studies in causal explanation or construction of educational theory. Therefore,it is necessary to reinforce and reform single country studies:developing thick-description and carrying out three-dimensional single country studies;pursuing explanation and carrying out single country studies based on theory.
