萨德勒是“比较教育之母”吗?——基于19世纪末20世纪初比较教育学科转型的视角
Is Sadler the Mother of Comparative Education?——Based on the Perspective of Transformation of Compara-tive Education at the End of the 19th Century and the Begin-ning of the 20th Century

摘要(Abstract):

萨德勒是比较教育学发展史上极为重要的学者,但他的学科贡献及地位还未被大家所充分认识。作为19世纪末20世纪初比较教育学科转型发展时期的关键人物,他奠定了比较教育专业化的初期研究体系,一路陪伴、见证了比较教育学科20世纪上半期的转型和发展,孕育出学科转型的五大要素,即推动了比较教育研究者身份的转变、研究目的的转换、研究方式的过渡、研究方法的转折、研究结果的专业化等。从萨德勒的学科贡献来看,他是学科大厦的重要奠基人,起到了超越前人、引领后人的承上启下作用,在学科转型发展时期赋予了学科全新的生命力,扮演着"比较教育之母"的角色,滋养着学科从"业余"走向"专业",在当代比较教育学界仍保持着深远的影响力。
Sadler is an extremely important scholar in the history of Comparative Education,but his academic contributions and status have not yet been fully understood by everyone. As a key figure in the transition period of the transformation of the Comparative Education in the late 19 th and early 20 th centuries,he established the initial research system of specialized comparative education,witnessed and led the transformation and development of the Comparative Education in the first half of the 20 th century. He promoted the alteration of researchers' status,conversion of research purposes,transition of research ways,expansion of research methods,specialization of research results which made up the 5 elements Sadler raised in transition period. Judging from Sadler's contribution to the subject,he is an important founder of Comparative Education,playing a role of surpassing the predecessors and leading the descendants,giving a new vitality during the transition period of Comparative Education development,playing the role of "Mother of Comparative Education",leading it "Towards Professional " development. In the contemporary comparative education academic world,it still maintains long-term influence.
