英国政府与大学关系演变历程——基于大学合法性地位获取的角度

摘要(Abstract):

在英国大学合法性地位获取的历史进程中,政治合法性、文化合法性和经济合法性依次是不同时期政府所强调的重点。各个时期英国大学合法性地位获取均反映出了那一时期政府与大学关系的重要方面,包括政府对大学的期待、信任度和对待方式。基于这些方面的变化,英国政府与大学关系经历了从君臣关系发展到大学主导的伙伴关系,到政府主导的伙伴关系,再到雇佣关系的演变历程。
In the historical process of obtaining the legitimacy status of British universities,the political legitimacy,cultural legitimacy and economic legitimacy,in turn,are emphasized by governments in different periods. The British institution's approach to the legal status of university in various periods can reflect the important aspects of the relationship between government and universities in that period,including the expectation,trust and treatment of universities by the government. Based on the changes in these aspects,the relationship between the UK government and universities has gone through the evolution process from the monarch relationship to the university-led partnership,to the government-led partnership and to the employment relationship.
