新加坡双语教育政策中因材施教理念的注入与发展——新加坡教育政策报告书解读

摘要(Abstract):

从20世纪50年代至今,新加坡的双语教育政策进行了六次大的调整。建国之初,更多的是出于国家生存、经济发展、政治现实上的考量来制定教育政策;1979年开始注入因材施教的教育理论;随后的几次调整都尽可能地降低政治、经济对教育的干扰,坚持以学习者个体为本位,真正为教育而教育;如今的双语教育已深入、细致地贯彻了"因材施教、量体裁衣"的教育理念。
Singapore has made six major adjustments to its bilingual education policiessince the 1950s. Greater considerations are given to state survival,economic developmentand political reality in the earlier years of nation building. Since 1979,the education systemreform has injected the elements of customisation into the educational theory to cater to thediversified learning needs of the learners. The subsequent few reforms have attempted to re-duce the influences of political and economic factors to minimize their disruptions towardseducation,upholding the emphasis on the basis of individual learners,staying true to educa-tion for education. The education ideals of customisation and contextualisation have beenmeticulously implemented and penetrated into the current bilingual education policy of Sin-gapore.
