美国基础教育阶段的暑期学校:发展历程、组织实施及改革动向
Summer Schools in Elementary Education in the United States: Development History,Organizational Implementation and Reform Trend

摘要(Abstract):

19世纪末以来,美国通过设立暑期学校,以解决社会发展转型、家庭结构变化所产生的儿童暑期看护与发展需求问题。经过一百多年发展,美国基础教育阶段暑期学校从最初的预防青少年犯罪,逐渐发展为为不同需求学生提供暑期体验、为弱势家庭儿童提供教育补偿机会、减少暑期学业损失的多元功能项目。其组织实施体系也逐渐走向完善成熟,采用有效利用暑期的日程组织模式,提供兼顾娱乐性与学术性的活动规划,由联邦、学区及学校共同提供保障。但暑期学校也面临功能偏离、供给资源缺口较大、家庭对暑期项目过度依赖等现实问题。
Since the end of the 19th century,the United States has established summer schools for elementary and middle schools to solve the problems of children's summer care and development needs caused by the transformation of social development and changes in family structure. After more than one hundred years of development,summer schools in the United States have evolved from the initial prevention of juvenile crime to a multifunctional program that provides summer experience for students with different needs,provides educational compensation opportunities for children from disadvantaged families,and reduces summer school losses. Its organization and implementation system is gradually becoming more and more mature,adopting an effective summer schedule organization model,providing recreational and academic activity planning,and the federal,school district and school jointly provide organizational guarantees. However,summer schools in the United States also face practical problems such as functional deviation,a large gap in summer supply resources,and the over-reliance of families on summer programs.
