兼具深度广度:新加坡基础教育改革的启示
With both Breadth and Depth: the Implication of the Education Reform in Singapore

摘要(Abstract):

近几年来,新加坡基于"以学生为本,以价值观为导向"的理念,调整现有教育政策以加强基础教育,推出一系列中小学教育改革措施,促使学生的学习兼具深度和广度,培养年轻一代终身学习的精神和素质。"深度"即培养学生具有良好的价值观,且树立新加坡国民观念,坚守严谨的原则;"广度"即重视每个学生,为每个学生提供广泛的、全面的教育。
Singapore has introduced series of new plans on basic education based on the conception of student-centered and value-driven teaching in order to strengthen basic education and enhance the younger generation to learn widely and deeply and nurture their spirit and form their quality of lifelong learning. The dimension of depth is to nurture students' values as well as help students set up national concept as the citizens of Singapore and insist on strict principles. The dimension of breadth means to value individual students and provide each student with extensive and comprehensive education.
