美国教师教育的第二条道路:争议中的选择性教师证书项目
The Second Road of U.S.Teacher Education: The Disputed Alternative Teacher Certification Programs

摘要(Abstract):

20世纪80年代的美国,政治意识形态的偏好、教师短缺和政治压力等因素促成了选择性教师证书项目的产生。支持者认为,选择性教师证书项目从根本上重构了教师培养方式,培养质量超过了传统的教师教育,解决了教师短缺尤其是少数族裔教师短缺的问题。反对者提出,选择性教师证书项目降低了对教师专业化的要求,即破坏了教师教育专业,破坏了教学专业化的努力。双方形成了争议。
Alternative Teacher Certification Programs were set up in the 1980's in the USA in the circumstance of the political ideology preference,teacher shortage and political pressures.Proponents of alternative certification claim that these programs fundamentally restructure teacher preparation and are far superior to traditional teacher education,and solve the issue of teacher shortage,especially the shortage of minority teachers.Opponents argue that alternative certification reduces the requirements of teacher's professional knowledge,and which means it destroy professional education for teachers and the efforts for teaching profession.The controversy has been formed.
